About the Job: AI Tax Preparation Product Manager

Summary:

The Product Manager for AI Tax Preparation will lead the development of innovative products that transform the U.S. tax preparation process for tax and accounting professionals. The role focuses on utilizing AI to enhance our portfolio of UltraTax and U.S. tax products, driving the creation of an automated, connected, and insight-driven ecosystem that supports professionals and their clients. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams from Product, Compliance, Engineering, TR Labs, and Design to shape and execute the product roadmap.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify customer needs, develop solutions, and manage the product lifecycle from ideation to delivery.

  • Own the product vision, roadmap, and backlog, ensuring alignment with customer and business priorities.

  • Collaborate with engineering and UX teams to ensure efficient product execution.

  • Drive AI and technology innovation, staying ahead of industry trends and applying AI to propel the tax and accounting profession.

  • Communicate product goals and progress effectively to stakeholders and teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Computer Science (or equivalent experience).

  • 2+ years of product management experience.

  • Background in fintech, SaaS, or tax & accounting products is preferred.

  • Experience in AI, ML, or related technologies is strongly desired.

  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
