Product Manager – Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with sales account managers and business leaders to support the execution of marketing initiatives, pricing strategies, and contract management.
  • Conduct ongoing market research to stay ahead of industry trends and pricing dynamics, manage supply and demand insights, and contribute to the business planning process, including profit and loss forecasting.
  • Collaborate with internal teams—finance, planning, legal, and sales—to optimize earnings, deliver accurate sales forecasts, and shape contract and pricing strategies.
  • Drive operational excellence by fostering collaboration between customers, planning, and manufacturing teams.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the Epoxy business unit and manufacturing, identifying productivity improvements and maximizing the value of both current and future sales agreements.
  • Work in close alignment with global marketing, sales, and planning teams to develop global customer strategies and enhance upstream asset profitability.

Product Manager – Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree* in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Basic Sciences, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience; background in commodity chemicals and/or manufacturing is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of and/or experience with the customer base is preferred.
  • Strong mathematical aptitude and excellent problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated analytical capabilities, including proficiency in designing and delivering presentations and reports.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
  • Must hold a valid U.S. driver’s license.
  • Prior Olin experience in a related role is a plus.
