As the Product Manager II, you will be responsible for managing product lines throughout their entire lifecycle—from strategic planning to end-of-life activities. You’ll collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Business Leaders to execute strategies that drive profitability and customer satisfaction. This role requires strong analytical, strategic, and communication skills to influence stakeholders and ensure successful product launches, marketing execution, and lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage product lifecycle: strategic planning, definition, launch, and retirement.

  • Perform 80/20 analysis on products, customers, and markets to identify growth opportunities.

  • Implement global product line strategies to maximize profitability and ROI.

  • Develop product pricing strategies and oversee daily activities to drive sales and profit.

  • Conduct VOC and market research to identify customer needs and market opportunities.

  • Assess competition and recommend product improvements or new opportunities.

  • Lead high-value product launches and post-launch analytics.

  • Partner with Sales during long-term contract negotiations.

  • Support Sales with product training, application details, and profitability tools.

  • Collaborate with Marketing on communication strategies, positioning, and tools.

  • Work closely with R&D, Engineering, and Manufacturing to align roadmaps and schedules.

  • Stay current through industry workshops, publications, and professional networks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).

  • 2+ years’ experience in product management, brand management, or business development within a manufacturing environment.

  • Knowledge of stage-gate NPD and portfolio management processes.

  • Experience with product lifecycle simplification/rationalization.

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

  • Proficiency with MS Office and CRM tools (Salesforce, Microsoft, etc.).

  • Passion for technology, innovation, and customer engagement.

  • Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
