About the job

University degree, college diploma in computer science, engineering, a similar discipline or equivalent job experience.

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a software/product development type role acting as a Product Owner.

Experience delivering compelling presentations to customers and other stakeholders.

Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and agile software development methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience as a software developer, designer, tester or architect is an asset

Knowledge of AI, Cloud and UX technologies and best practices is an asset

Expected Responsibilities:

• Product Strategy and Vision: Develop and communicate the vision and strategy for their product area(s) to align with company goals.

• Roadmap Planning: Create and maintain product roadmap(s) that drive stakeholder alignment and engineering priorities.

• Market Research: Partner with the marketing team and target market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.

• Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize product requirements.

• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, marketing, sales, customer success and operations teams to ensure successful product development and launch.

• Customer Feedback: Collect and incorporate customer feedback to enhance product features and user experience.

• Stakeholder Communication: Regularly update stakeholders on product roadmap progress, changes, and future plans.

• Proposal Support: Work as part of a cross-functional team with Sales, Marketing and others to help respond to RFPs and other customer proposals.
