What You Will Do

  • Collaborate with Project Managers to prepare and issue accurate monthly client invoices in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and manage outstanding receivables to ensure prompt collections.
  • Assist Project Managers in the distribution and processing of write-off requests.
  • Review consultant invoices, address billing discrepancies, and provide payment status updates as needed.
  • Work closely with Project Managers to track and evaluate project progress and financial performance.
  • Analyze variances, investigate discrepancies, and report findings to management.
  • Maintain accurate project-specific financial records within the accounting system through regular updates and validation.
  • Apply standard best practices for project accounting in alignment with GAAP and other relevant accounting principles.
  • Gather and compile necessary documentation for audits as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

  • Strong ability to meet deadlines and complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels, with a collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • A degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable, with a self-starting attitude.
  • Experience with Deltek Vision Software or MS Dynamics is a plus.
  • Background in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry is beneficial.
