What You Will Do
- Collaborate with Project Managers to prepare and issue accurate monthly client invoices in a timely manner.
- Monitor and manage outstanding receivables to ensure prompt collections.
- Assist Project Managers in the distribution and processing of write-off requests.
- Review consultant invoices, address billing discrepancies, and provide payment status updates as needed.
- Work closely with Project Managers to track and evaluate project progress and financial performance.
- Analyze variances, investigate discrepancies, and report findings to management.
- Maintain accurate project-specific financial records within the accounting system through regular updates and validation.
- Apply standard best practices for project accounting in alignment with GAAP and other relevant accounting principles.
- Gather and compile necessary documentation for audits as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
- Strong ability to meet deadlines and complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Excellent communication skills across all levels, with a collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- A degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable, with a self-starting attitude.
- Experience with Deltek Vision Software or MS Dynamics is a plus.
- Background in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry is beneficial.
