Project Finance Manager
Location: Manhattan, New York City, Hybrid
Compensation: $120,000 – $150,000 + Bonus
Piper Maddox is partnering with an independent valuation advisory and litigation support firm. The company offers a range of services, including transaction advisory, valuation consulting, and litigation support, catering to public and private companies across various industries.
The New York office serves as a hub for key practices areas such as Energy Infrastructure. The firm prioritizes professional development and employee satisfaction, as reflected in its staff retention rates.
As the Project Finance Manager for Energy & Infrastructure, you will be responsible for leading complex valuation projects in sectors including renewable energy sources such as wind, solar, hydro, and other emerging technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the charge in valuing energy and infrastructure projects, using tools like DCF models and transaction comparisons to deliver accurate assessments.
- Work closely with clients throughout due diligence, teaming up with financial institutions, project developers, and investment partners to ensure smooth collaboration.
- Mentor junior members, helping them grow and succeed in their roles.
- Prepare and present valuation reports, ensuring timely delivery.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5-10 years in business or asset valuation, with a focus on the energy and infrastructure sectors.
- Skills: You’ll need advanced Excel modeling skills, strong communication abilities, and the knack for managing complex projects involving diverse teams.
- Knowledge: A great grasp of renewable energy trends, financing structures, and project development.
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field is essential. Having a Master’s degree or certifications is a plus.
