Project Manager

About the Role

Senior Project Manager, leading complex, end-to-end projects in the Payments Strategy & Transformation space. You will guide project teams through all phases—initiation, requirements gathering, design, testing, implementation, and closure—ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline. Reporting to the Project Director, you’ll work in a hybrid environment, spending 1-3 days on-site per week.

What You’ll Do

• Project Leadership: Independently manage large-scale projects, providing expert guidance on planning, execution, and issue resolution.
• Business Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to define business requirements, analyze processes, and document current and future states.
• Quality Assurance: Support and oversee test planning, execution, and post-implementation validation.
• Relationship Management: Build strong internal partnerships across teams to improve processes and deliver strategic outcomes.
• Strategic Support: Contribute to Payments & Transformation initiatives, enhancing project delivery practices and tools.
• Team Leadership: Mentor Business Analysts and provide subject matter expertise in Payments projects.

Who You Are

• Experienced: 4+ years of experience managing large, end-to-end projects, including business and technology components (e.g., UAT/SIT).
• Educated: Degree in Business, Commerce, or a related field (PMP certification is a plus).
• Data-Driven: Skilled at analyzing complex problems and presenting meaningful insights.
• Collaborative Leader: A team player with strong relationship-building and leadership abilities.
• Flexible and Adaptable: Embraces change and thrives in a dynamic environment.
• Results-Oriented: Motivated to take ownership, deliver results, and exceed expectations.

Must Haves

• 4+ years of experience in end-to-end project management.
• Strong understanding of business projects with technology components.
• Interest in a full-time permanent (FTE) role.

Nice to Have

• Background in Payments, deposits, or cards.
• Experience in financial institutions (FI).
• PMP certification.
