Project Manager

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required; Master’s degree preferred

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in program management and/or quality improvement, ideally within a behavioral healthcare setting

• Experience with the implementation and integration of electronic medical record (EMR) systems

• Familiarity with behavioral health or healthcare operations

• Working knowledge of the Project Management Institute (PMI) framework

• Understanding of LEAN principles; LEAN Six Sigma certification preferred

• Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile and Scrum

• Demonstrated leadership ability

• Proficiency in cost and risk management

• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and negotiation skills

• Strong data interpretation and analytical skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

• Capable of making sound decisions under pressure

• Effective problem-solving and time management skills

• Friendly, approachable, and collaborative in team environments

Key Responsibilities

The Project Manager will oversee the full lifecycle of projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Core responsibilities include:

• Developing and managing both long- and short-term project plans, setting milestones, deadlines, and resource allocations

• Delegating project tasks based on team members’ expertise

• Identifying, evaluating, and mitigating risks across multiple projects

• Defining project scopes and establishing clear objectives

• Making strategic decisions when presented with multiple project pathways

• Serving as a liaison between cross-functional teams to maintain project alignment

• Communicating with senior leadership to ensure ongoing alignment with strategic goals

• Conducting quality assurance throughout project execution

• Adjusting timelines, goals, and resource assignments as necessary

• Motivating and guiding team members to meet deliverables on schedule

Additional Responsibilities

• Develop expertise in performance improvement techniques, data analysis, survey tools, and mental health best practices

• Foster strong customer relationships by ensuring timely task completion and cooperative planning

• Maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders

• Actively contribute to team meetings, workgroups, and collaborative discussions

• Perform other duties as assigned by management
