Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Execution

  • Develop and manage detailed project plans covering scope, timelines, resources, and budgets.

  • Define project goals, deliverables, and success metrics in partnership with stakeholders.

  • Track project progress, identify risks, and implement strategies to keep the project on schedule and within scope.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Serve as the primary liaison for all project-related communications with internal teams and external partners.

  • Lead regular meetings, provide updates to senior leadership, and ensure transparency across the project lifecycle.

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships across departments, vendors, and external collaborators.

System Implementation Leadership

  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of a global reinsurance platform, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.

  • Coordinate with technical teams for smooth system integration and accurate data migration.

  • Oversee user training, testing, and change management to promote successful adoption and minimal disruption.

Risk & Compliance Management

  • Identify and manage project risks, dependencies, and potential issues, developing proactive mitigation strategies.

  • Ensure all project activities comply with relevant regulatory guidelines and industry requirements.

  • Address challenges quickly to reduce impacts on deliverables and timelines.

Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Monitor key performance indicators and project milestones, providing clear and timely reporting to stakeholders.

  • Prepare thorough documentation, including status updates, risk assessments, and post-implementation reviews.

  • Evaluate outcomes and recommend continuous improvements for future initiatives.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Finance, or related field; Master’s degree or certifications like PMP or PRINCE2 preferred.

  • 5+ years of proven experience managing large-scale system implementations, ideally in a global financial services or insurance setting.

  • In-depth knowledge of reinsurance operations, platforms, and industry best practices.

  • Strong track record of managing complex, cross-functional projects with measurable success.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Analytical thinker with exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Skilled in using project management software such as MS Project, JIRA, or Trello.

  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
