Join Our Team as a Project Manager – Monterey, CA (Relocation Assistance Available)
We’re looking for a dynamic and entrepreneurial Project Manager to join our expanding team in Monterey, California. What You’ll Be Doing
As a Project Manager, you will lead large-scale capital programs for municipal agencies, K-12 districts, and community colleges. You’ll be the strategic partner clients rely on—managing execution, ensuring alignment, and delivering results.
Key responsibilities include:

Leading project execution from start to finish—stakeholder engagement, budgeting, construction oversight, and quality assurance.

Serving as a trusted advisor, helping clients navigate major decisions and complex processes.

Directing cross-functional teams, including internal staff, consultants, and partners, to meet project goals.

Proactively identifying risks, resolving challenges, and keeping projects on schedule and within budget.

Creating and delivering high-impact reports, strategic plans, and presentations.

Contributing to company growth through mentorship and participation in thought leadership initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications:

Experience: 5+ years managing large, complex projects ($25M+) in education, municipal, or similar sectors.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in architecture, construction management, or a related discipline.

Knowledge: In-depth experience with school construction and DSA (Division of the State Architect) processes is required.

Leadership: Proven ability to manage teams and oversee multiple projects simultaneously.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Communication: Strong client-facing, presentation, and facilitation skills.

Location: Hybrid role with in-person client site visits 3+ days/week. Candidates must reside within commuting distance of Monterey, CA—or be willing to relocate.

Bonus: Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
