Project Manager
The Project Manager acts as a vital connection between customers, the iAutomation Sales team, and internal operations. This role is responsible for converting customer expectations into executable plans and coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery. Key initiatives include managing engineering change orders (ECOs), overseeing new product introductions, and resolving quality-related issues—all while maintaining clear, proactive communication with customers.
Key Responsibilities

Serve as the central point of contact for customers, the Sales team, and internal departments.

Clearly communicate customer expectations to internal teams to ensure understanding and alignment.

Develop and maintain detailed project plans for ECOs, new product launches, and quality issue resolution.

Lead coordination across engineering, procurement, quality, and production to meet project timelines and requirements.

Monitor project progress using Kanban metrics, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met in accordance with customer commitments.

Promptly communicate any changes in project schedules or deliveries to customers, providing clear justifications and recovery strategies.

Participate in both customer-facing and internal meetings to provide project updates and address issues.

Contribute to continuous improvement by applying insights from previous projects.

Conduct post-project reviews to identify key successes, challenges, and opportunities for future enhancement.
Education & Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related analytical field.

Minimum of 3 years of project management experience, preferably in manufacturing or engineered products.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.

Experience reporting to off-site management is a plus.
