Project Manager

The Project Manager acts as a vital connection between customers, the iAutomation Sales team, and internal operations. This role is responsible for converting customer expectations into executable plans and coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery. Key initiatives include managing engineering change orders (ECOs), overseeing new product introductions, and resolving quality-related issues—all while maintaining clear, proactive communication with customers.


Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the central point of contact for customers, the Sales team, and internal departments.

  • Clearly communicate customer expectations to internal teams to ensure understanding and alignment.

  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans for ECOs, new product launches, and quality issue resolution.

  • Lead coordination across engineering, procurement, quality, and production to meet project timelines and requirements.

  • Monitor project progress using Kanban metrics, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met in accordance with customer commitments.

  • Promptly communicate any changes in project schedules or deliveries to customers, providing clear justifications and recovery strategies.

  • Participate in both customer-facing and internal meetings to provide project updates and address issues.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement by applying insights from previous projects.

  • Conduct post-project reviews to identify key successes, challenges, and opportunities for future enhancement.


Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related analytical field.

  • Minimum of 3 years of project management experience, preferably in manufacturing or engineered products.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.

  • Experience reporting to off-site management is a plus.
