Position Overview

The Project Manager (Contract) will support the Process and Analytical Development project portfolio by overseeing timelines, contracts, and deliverables. This role requires a proactive and resourceful project manager with strong cross-functional collaboration skills. You will work closely with the Senior Vice President, Process and Analytical Development, to ensure that comprehensive project plans are established, tracked, and executed effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, establish, and maintain comprehensive project plans and timelines in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

  • Create project management processes, best practices, tools, and dashboards for effective tracking.

  • Identify critical paths, at-risk activities, and resolve bottlenecks to meet organizational goals.

  • Prepare and deliver progress reports, dashboards, and project presentations.

  • Ensure adherence to internal and external governance processes.

  • Build strong, productive working relationships across internal and external teams.

  • Identify and implement process improvements as needed.

  • Align with Iovance Biotherapeutics’ core values, policies, and ethical standards.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in life science or a technical discipline required.

Experience & Skills

  • 5+ years in R&D drug development with at least 2+ years in direct project management.

  • Strong project management expertise, with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Proficiency with MS Project, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint, and visualization tools (e.g., One Pager, Swimlane).

  • Basic understanding of oncology drug development and scientific principles.

  • Strong analytical skills to assess regulatory issues, analyze data, and draw valid conclusions.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

Physical & Mental Demands

  • Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods.

  • Ability to lift up to 10 lbs occasionally.

  • Visual acuity for computer-based work and data analysis.

  • Repetitive hand/wrist motions required.

  • Clear thinking, problem-solving, discretion, and ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines.

Work Environment

  • Professional office or remote setting.

  • Use of standard office equipment required.
