What You Will Be Responsible For

  • Manage projects using a hybrid Agile and Waterfall approach, ensuring successful delivery.
  • Coordinate and track project deliverables to align with product initiatives outlined in the business roadmap.
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse teams across business and technology areas.
  • Facilitate and conduct project plan reviews to meet key deadlines and ensure clear, consistent communication with project stakeholders and senior management.
  • Work closely with GlobalLink & Global Markets product managers, business SMEs, clients, and other stakeholders to develop detailed business and functional requirements, including constructing client solutions, workflow specifications, diagrams, and screen mockups.
  • Partner with development and QA teams to ensure clear timelines and expectations throughout strategy, design, development, and release phases.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the existing Fund Connect infrastructure, data models, and database architecture.
  • Produce high-quality, detailed technical documentation, including business requirements, workflow diagrams, GUI definitions, and screen mock-ups, in collaboration with product, technical, and business teams.
  • Work independently with confidence in a fast-paced, complex technical environment.
  • Establish strong relationships with colleagues across multiple functional areas and levels of seniority.
  • Develop and implement project management processes, working with teams to define, prioritize, and create comprehensive project plans.
  • Maintain the technology project portfolio to ensure project management processes are well-documented throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders regularly to ensure their expectations are met.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 7–10 years of experience in project management and business analysis within financial services.
  • Relevant experience with electronic trading platforms in Mutual Funds, FX, and/or Fixed Income.
  • Background in implementing mission-critical financial solutions.
  • Ability to communicate plans, challenges, and concerns clearly and logically to clients and team members.
  • Strong influencing skills to engage key decision-makers both internally and externally.
  • Effective time management with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and confidently in a dynamic, complex technical environment.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities.
  • Experience in financial services (Equities, FX, Fixed Income).
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Teams) and Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence).
