Position Overview
Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) and Planned Parenthood Action Fund (PPAF) are seeking an experienced Project Manager, Care & Access.
Reporting to the Sr. Director, Care & Access Operations, this role manages multiple projects that support the division’s strategic priorities: protecting access to sexual and reproductive health care (SRHWB), advancing abortion service delivery, improving patient-centered care, and developing clinical best practices.
The Project Manager will oversee the full project lifecycle—from planning to implementation—ensuring timelines, deliverables, and outcomes are met.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Delivery

Manage a portfolio of programs/projects within the Care & Access Division

Develop project plans, workflows, and timelines; ensure deliverables are on track

Coordinate meeting prep, communications, and presentations

Identify risks, escalate issues, and recommend proactive solutions

Develop and track project metrics, reporting progress to leadership

Manage division grant programs (RFPs, timelines, notifications, guidelines)
Engagement & Collaboration

Partner with staff across PPFA, affiliates, and external stakeholders
-
Build relationships with senior management and technical teams
-
Collaborate to create SOPs, tools, and resources for project management

Support convenings, conferences, and cross-division events
Knowledge Management & Operations

Maintain project tools, trackers, and deliverables
-
Ensure consistent documentation and reporting across initiatives

Support administrative and operational best practices
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) required
-
3–5 years project management or progressively responsible administrative experience (PMP certification a plus)

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Excellent oral and written communication abilities

High proficiency in Google Workspace tools

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities

Travel & Work Schedule

Travel: 0–25% domestic
-
Hybrid schedule: NYC or DC office, minimum 2 days per week onsite (unless role is designated onsite full time)
