Position Overview

We are seeking a Project Manager – Education to lead and coordinate the execution of high-priority client and internal projects that support equity-driven education reform. You’ll work across teams, manage stakeholder relationships, and ensure project outcomes are delivered on time and with excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and lead multiple education-related projects in dynamic environments

• Align stakeholders on common goals and manage expectations

• Deliver high-quality client products and services

• Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to provide actionable insights

• Communicate complex findings clearly, tailoring information to each audience

• Manage and mentor consultants to contribute effectively and grow professionally

• Monitor project timelines, risks, and deliverables across multiple initiatives

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Sciences, or related field

• 7+ years of consulting or equivalent education/public-sector experience

• 2+ years of management or team leadership experience

• A strong commitment to equity, inclusion, and MGT’s mission

• Exceptional project management and problem-solving skills

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities

• Proven ability to work with clients and external stakeholders

• Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to meet fast-paced deadlines

• Experience with tools like R, GIS, or other data analytics platforms is a plus

• Ability to travel based on client needs
