Project Manager, Governance

About the Role:

Are you passionate about improving processes and managing strategic initiatives from start to finish? Ligonier Ministries is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Governance to lead enterprise-wide projects that enhance organizational effectiveness. In this role, you will oversee multiple cross-functional initiatives, ensuring on-time and on-budget execution while aligning with ministry goals.

You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, develop comprehensive project documentation, mitigate risks, and drive improvements in project delivery. Your ability to communicate clearly, manage change, and execute with precision will directly impact the success of the ministry’s long-term vision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple cross-departmental projects from the enterprise portfolio

• Define and actively manage project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and scopes

• Coordinate internal and external resources to meet project milestones

• Track and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and escalate when necessary

• Gather and document business requirements from internal stakeholders and customers

• Maintain key project documentation: project charters, schedules, risk registers, change logs, status reports, closeout reports

• Facilitate project team meetings and stakeholder check-ins

• Assist in improving processes for better resource utilization and operational efficiency

Qualifications:

Required:

• 5+ years of experience in project management

• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced environment

• Strong technical aptitude; able to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Exceptional organizational, verbal, and written communication skills

• Experience managing budgets, scopes, and timelines effectively

• Self-motivated with a proactive, problem-solving mindset

• Agreement with the Ligonier Ministries Core Statement of Faith

• Ability to meet all job attendance requirements

Preferred:

• PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification

• Experience in a non-profit or ministry setting

Compensation & Additional Information:

• Salary range: $75,000 – $100,000 annually

• Salary offers depend on education, experience, certifications, and organizational needs

• This is an in-person role based in Sanford, Florida
