Job Responsibilities

  • Manage technical deliverables for multi-product, multi-service contracts across Power, Oil & Gas, and Pulp & Paper sectors.

  • Oversee major equipment scopes such as Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines, Generators, Compressors, and plant supporting equipment.

  • Plan and coordinate activities including outages, rotor overhauls, unit modifications, and upgrades.

  • Lead project life cycle meetings, drive action items, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and at high quality.

  • Contract and manage field labor, parts repairs/replacements, and facility upgrades.

  • Negotiate with providers, approve purchase orders, and manage subcontractors/business units.

  • Prepare budgets, schedules, and performance reports using project control techniques.

  • Conduct financial reviews, identify risks, and implement cost reduction strategies.

  • Lead continuous improvement projects and standardization efforts within the business.

 Required Skills & Knowledge

  • Business-level fluency in English.

  • Expertise in Project Management systems & best practices: planning, quality management, risk assessment, scheduling, cost control, variance reporting, and customer relationship management.

  • Strong ability to analyze scope/objectives and ensure efficient execution.

  • Proven record in conflict resolution and team motivation.

  • Strategic and tactical problem-solving within a matrix organization.

  • Strong communication and contract management skills.

 Experience

  • 10+ years relevant industry experience, including 4+ years in project management.

  • Preference for candidates with leadership experience in gas turbine or steam turbine power plants or similar environments.

 Education

  • Engineering degree preferred, OR a business degree with business improvement background.

  • Professional certifications (PMI, PMP, or equivalent) are a plus.

 Physical Requirements

  • Ability to walk, climb, stoop, reach, and lift up to 75 lbs.

  • Willingness to travel 25–30% across U.S. and Latin America.
