Join Our Team as a Project Worker
We are seeking a passionate Project Worker to deliver high-quality, trauma-informed support in a psychologically informed environment (PIE). As a Project Worker, you will be part of a dedicated team in Southend-on-Sea, helping individuals who have experienced long-term rough sleeping and complex challenges rebuild their lives.
Key Responsibilities of a Project Worker

Personalized Support: Provide one-to-one support for residents facing multiple disadvantages.

Recovery and Empowerment: Design and co-produce activities focused on recovery and personal growth.

Housing Management: Offer intensive housing management and life skills coaching.

Accurate Documentation: Maintain up-to-date support plans, risk assessments, and records.

Advocacy: Connect residents with essential health, housing, and support services.

Collaborative Approach: Work with partners through multi-agency models for holistic support.
Essential Skills and Qualifications for a Project Worker

Experience: 2+ years in supporting individuals with complex needs.

Specialized Knowledge: Familiarity with trauma-informed and recovery-focused practices.

Communication Skills: Strong ability to manage crises and advocate effectively.

Passion for Support: Commitment to person-centred, anti-oppressive support.

Desirable Qualification: NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care, Housing, or equivalent.
Compensation and Benefits

Salary: £29,845 – £32,439 per year.
