Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Business Services Officer I (Supervisor), the Property Controller II, CF is responsible for managing and operating a complex property control system throughout the institution. Duties may include supervising, leading, or instructing inmates, in addition to other related tasks.
This position is open to candidates who are eligible for Training and Development assignments.
Duties & Responsibilities

Operate and oversee the institution’s property control system.

Supervise, lead, or instruct inmates as needed.

Maintain accurate property records and ensure compliance with state regulations.

Collaborate with other CDCR and CCHCS staff to support institutional operations.

Education/experience verification required before appointment (transcripts/diplomas may be requested).

Must pass background investigation, Live Scan fingerprinting, and Tuberculosis testing before hire.

The position is located at California Medical Facility (CMF) in Vacaville, CA, within reach of Sacramento (35 miles east), San Francisco (53 miles west), and Napa Valley (30 miles west).
