Role Overview

We are seeking a licensed Psychologist to join our Therapeutic Services Staff. In this role, you will conduct psychological assessments, support behavior programming, provide consultation to staff and families, and deliver counseling services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations using standardized methods.

  • Provide written assessments and input for annual Individual Program Plans (IPPs).

  • Evaluate adaptive behavior and intellectual functioning every three years.

  • Collaborate with Behavior Services to design and support behavioral programs.

  • Train staff on behavioral and mental health strategies.

  • Provide counseling to individuals and families as needed.

  • Serve on Behavior Support, Human Rights, Placement, and Interdisciplinary Committees.

  • Submit weekly psychology service sheets for billing and stay within budget guidelines.

  • Coordinate mental health care with psychiatrists and health services staff.

  • Participate in training sessions, meetings, outings, and program activities.

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Psychology with Kentucky license for autonomous functioning required.

  • Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) in Clinical or Counseling Psychology preferred.

  • At least 1 year of supervised clinical experience or prior experience with individuals with IDD preferred.

  • Valid driver’s license required.

Schedule

  • Full-time, exempt (40 hours per week).

  • Flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed for staff training and individual support.
