About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Purchasing Assistant to join our dynamic Finance Team. Based at our Ross-on-Wye Head Office, you’ll report to the Purchasing Supervisor and Management Accountant, playing a key role in the smooth running of procurement operations.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous purchasing or supply chain experience who is looking to develop their career in a supportive, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities

Raise and manage purchase orders and goods receipts using the BC procurement system

Research and assess suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and reliability

Verify and process supplier invoices, ensuring compliance with agreed terms

Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers to ensure smooth procurement operations

Provide support in daily purchasing activities and help monitor departmental performance

Prepare and maintain accurate documentation for internal reporting and service delivery

Promote sustainability in office practices and maintain a safe, organised workspace
