    About the Job

    The Quality Auditor Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring optimal product quality and assisting engineers in resolving quality-related issues. This position applies fundamental quality principles and industry best practices to enhance product standards and improve quality systems efficiently and effectively.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Conduct investigations and generate reports on technical data as needed.
    • Identify and recommend solutions for quality issues, including RGA, CAPA, and NCMR.
    • Inspect, measure, and document product quality at various stages of production.
    • Record and verify inspection data in the electronic SPC system and generate reports.
    • Alert the Quality Manager about deviations from specifications and initiate NCMRs and Discrepant Material Reports.
    • Perform gage R&R, first article inspections, and validation data collection as required.
    • Receive cross-training in all Quality Department functions, including receiving inspections, work order reviews, and shipping verification.
    • Serve as a substitute for inspectors or technicians when necessary.
    • Carry out additional tasks as assigned.

    Requirements for Consideration

    • High school diploma or GED required.
    • Knowledge of ISO standards, GDP, GMP, and FDA QSRs is a plus.
    • Strong attention to detail.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
    • Basic computer proficiency, with familiarity in Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
    • Ability to follow directions, take initiative, and work independently most of the time.
