Role Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated Quarry Operative to join our team at Freemans Quarry, Bristol. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the extraction and processing of materials, contributing to the production of vital construction materials used to build communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain quarry machinery and equipment.
- Ensure quality control of materials and comply with safety procedures.
- Manage the loading of materials, maintain supplies, and keep the site clean and organized.
- Take responsibility for site operations in the absence of the manager.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the construction materials industry.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a practical, hands-on approach.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
