Position Overview:
We are excited you’re interested in joining Sutter Health! As a Radiologic Technologist, you will perform both routine and specialized radiology procedures to support physicians and healthcare providers in diagnosing, treating, and preventing illness or injury. This role requires independence, strong clinical judgment, and technical expertise to deliver accurate imaging results while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
You will gain cooperation and trust from patients, families, and healthcare teams through skilled assessments, careful monitoring, and clear communication. The position also ensures strict compliance with privacy, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Education & Licensure Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program

Required Certifications:
-
ARRT – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
-
CRT/DRT – Certified Radiologic Technologist (State of practice)
-
BLS – Basic Life Support (Healthcare Provider) upon hire
-
RHF – Radiology Fluoroscopy (within 180 days of hire, if required)

Experience:
-
Minimum 2 years of recent, relevant radiology experience preferred
Skills & Knowledge:
-
Strong foundation in diagnostic radiology principles, views, and equipment

Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology

Skilled in trauma response and hospital emergency procedures

Strong communication skills with diverse patients and healthcare teams

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and medical information systems (RIS, LIS, EHR, EPIC, PACS)

Ability to prioritize, manage time effectively, and work independently or collaboratively

Commitment to maintaining patient privacy and HIPAA compliance
