Sutter Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring accurate results while prioritizing patient care. This role involves operating imaging equipment, processing films, maintaining records, and assisting patients, including high-risk and critically ill individuals across all age groups. Additionally, the technologist will guide and mentor students during their clinical rotations.
Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program; Associate’s degree in Health Science preferred
- Licensure & Certifications:
- Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT)
- ARRT – Radiography certification
- Radiology Fluoroscopy (RHF)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire
Preferred Experience & Skills:
- Two years of experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred
- Expertise in trauma, pediatric, surgical, and portable radiography
- Knowledge of radiation safety, quality control, infection control, and hospital protocols
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
