Position: Radiologic Technologist
Location: 30 Locust Street, Northampton, MA
Schedule: Evening Shift | 24 Hours per Week | Onsite

About Cooley Dickinson Health Care
Part of the Mass General Brigham system, Cooley Dickinson has been delivering high-quality healthcare to Western Massachusetts since 1886. Our network includes the main hospital campus in Northampton and locations in 12 surrounding towns, employing more than 2,000 medical and support professionals. Our VNA & Hospice services extend care throughout Hampshire and Franklin counties.
Position Overview
As a Radiologic Technologist, you will perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures using a variety of equipment (stationary, portable, and specialized), ensuring patient comfort and safety at all times. This is a union position within the 1199SEIU Bargaining Unit and reports to the Supervisor of Diagnostic Radiology or the Practice Manager.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct radiographic exams with minimal supervision

Operate imaging equipment in accordance with departmental protocols

Ensure safe, accurate positioning and exposure settings

Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to deliver excellent care

Maintain compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
Required Qualifications
-
Associate’s degree (or equivalent if grandfathered under licensing regulations)

Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist license and ARRT eligibility (ARRT registration must be obtained within 6 months of hire)

Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association

One year of experience preferred

Must be trained and able to care for patients of all ages—from prenatal through adult
