Description

This role provides a variety of radiographic imaging services, including fluoroscopy under the direction of a physician, for all age groups, ensuring adherence to the ALARA principles. The position also participates in departmental quality improvement processes to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Depending on the department’s needs, this position may assist with patient workflow, such as front desk duties, phlebotomy, EKGs, vital signs, patient intake information, and other duties supported by the scope of practice.

Estimated pay range for this position is $25.74 – $35.50 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

Degrees:

  • High School, Certification, GED, Training, Experience.

Licenses & Certifications:

  • Basic Life Support.

  • Certified Radiologic Technologist.

  • ARRT Registered Technologist – Radiography.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an approved AMA Council on Education Program in Radiologic Technology.

  • Six months of experience in an acute care setting preferred.

  • Must complete and maintain the Career Ladder Portfolio to be considered for Radiology Tech 2.

  • Depending on departmental needs, may be required to be proficient in skills such as vital signs, phlebotomy, EKGs, and front desk duties including quick registration.

  • Must be flexible and adaptable to changing departmental needs.
