We are looking for a senior-level medical biller with leadership skills to manage complex denied claims and build processes, SOPs, and KPIs to scale with offshore billing staff.

Key Responsibilities

Hands-on Denial Recovery

  • Manage high-dollar and aged denied claims (commercial, workers’ comp, Medicare/Medicaid).

  • Draft and submit appeals, reconsiderations, and resubmissions with proper documentation.

  • Communicate with payers and escalate issues as needed to secure payment.

Process & Team Leadership

  • Create SOPs, checklists, and best practices for claim follow-up and denial management.

  • Define KPIs and quality standards for billers.

  • Train, mentor, and manage offshore billing staff or BPO resources.

Client-Facing Support

  • Act as subject matter expert on denial trends for clients.

  • Communicate clearly on progress, recovery amounts, and blockers.

  • Build trust and demonstrate measurable financial results.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of medical billing/revenue cycle management experience, focused on denial recovery.

  • Experience in workers’ compensation, infusion therapy, or specialty pharmacy billing preferred.

  • Ability to manage claims end-to-end independently.

  • Strong knowledge of EOBs, payer guidelines, appeals processes, and claim lifecycles.

  • Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team training.

  • Proven leadership skills to coach, train, or supervise others.

  • Must be U.S.-based to handle payer interactions and compliance.
