We are looking for a senior-level medical biller with leadership skills to manage complex denied claims and build processes, SOPs, and KPIs to scale with offshore billing staff.
Key Responsibilities
Hands-on Denial Recovery

Manage high-dollar and aged denied claims (commercial, workers’ comp, Medicare/Medicaid).

Draft and submit appeals, reconsiderations, and resubmissions with proper documentation.

Communicate with payers and escalate issues as needed to secure payment.
Process & Team Leadership

Create SOPs, checklists, and best practices for claim follow-up and denial management.

Define KPIs and quality standards for billers.

Train, mentor, and manage offshore billing staff or BPO resources.
Client-Facing Support

Act as subject matter expert on denial trends for clients.

Communicate clearly on progress, recovery amounts, and blockers.

Build trust and demonstrate measurable financial results.
Requirements

5+ years of medical billing/revenue cycle management experience, focused on denial recovery.

Experience in workers’ compensation, infusion therapy, or specialty pharmacy billing preferred.

Ability to manage claims end-to-end independently.

Strong knowledge of EOBs, payer guidelines, appeals processes, and claim lifecycles.

Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team training.

Proven leadership skills to coach, train, or supervise others.

Must be U.S.-based to handle payer interactions and compliance.
