Job Overview
Penningtons Manches Cooper is seeking a dedicated Paralegal to join its highly regarded Property Litigation team in London. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a busy, client-focused department, primarily supporting one of our key clients with disrepair claims and related litigation matters.
The role includes case management, client contact, and liaising with solicitors, courts, and counsel. The successful candidate will be involved in high-quality legal work and will gain exposure to all aspects of the litigation process.
We operate a hybrid working policy, allowing employees to work remotely for at least 50% of their time, with flexible arrangements available.
Key Responsibilities

Manage a litigation caseload under the supervision of senior team members

Provide document and court bundle support in real estate litigation matters

Liaise with courts, opposing counsel, and external parties

Attend client meetings, prepare accurate notes, and track action items

Ensure compliance with legal and internal standards and procedures

Support business development and client relationship initiatives

Participate in team and firm-wide training sessions

Assist with billing and case administration
Essential Criteria

Demonstrable interest or experience in property litigation or a related legal field

Strong written and verbal communication skills

High attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks under pressure

Excellent organisational and time-management skills

Strong IT proficiency (Excel, document management, flowcharts)

Proactive team player with a collaborative mindset
Desirable Criteria

LPC or SQE qualification (not essential)

Interest in real estate law and residential landlord & tenant matters

Experience in project management or managing case files

Prior experience in a legal environment
