About the Role – Receptionist

As a Receptionist at The Bear of Rodborough, you will be the welcoming face of the hotel—making that all-important first impression for every guest.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests with a warm, friendly, and professional approach

  • Manage guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently

  • Handle incoming phone calls, bookings, and general enquiries

  • Use hotel IT systems to manage reservations and guest information accurately

  • Support guests during their stay with local knowledge and helpful service

  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Friendly, confident, and passionate about guest satisfaction

  • Organised and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment

  • Comfortable using hotel systems and Microsoft Office tools

  • A team player with a proactive attitude

  • Experience in a hospitality, receptionist, or customer service role is ideal, but full training will be provided
