Reg HR Manager

Responsibilities

  • Oversee HR systems and practices within the assigned region, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.

  • Advise leadership on HR policies, retention strategies, employee relations, and workforce planning.

  • Partner with senior leadership to analyze reports (e.g., turnover) and recommend strategies to improve employee engagement and retention.

  • Plan and implement new HR initiatives using technology (e.g., UKG) for streamlined rollout.

  • Establish feedback mechanisms (surveys, performance metrics) to gather employee insights for continuous improvement.

  • Manage employee relations escalations, investigations, and leave issues.

  • Conduct training sessions for managers and HR staff to reinforce HR policies and best practices.

  • Maintain and update RIF trackers, analyze furlough/RIF files, and ensure legal compliance.

  • Mentor and train HR Generalists on processes, procedures, and consistency across the region.

  • Stay informed on industry trends and HR best practices to enhance program effectiveness.

  • Act as a strategic partner on talent management, organizational development, and workforce planning (e.g., 9-box analysis).

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: 3–5 years as a seasoned HR practitioner; comprehensive knowledge of fair employment laws; telecom or multi-site company experience preferred.

  • Skills: Strong communication, relationship building, teamwork, problem-solving, planning, dependability, and innovation.

  • Knowledge: Recruitment, selection, salary administration, training, benefits, employee relations, and HR systems.

  • Computer Proficiency: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio; Oracle or HR database management a plus.

  • Other: High ethical standards, professional appearance, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
