Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers to provide guidance on both pharmacological and non-pharmacological options for managing health conditions, using clinical tools and delivering information in the customer’s preferred communication method.

  • Provide clinical pharmacy services in compliance with state regulations, including medication therapy management (MTM), adherence support, immunizations, point-of-care testing (POCT), diagnostic testing, and prescriptive authority, to improve patient therapeutic outcomes.

  • Leverage products and services to enhance customer experiences, drive business growth, and increase script volume.

  • Ensure prescription accuracy by performing Drug Utilization Reviews and Final Quality Assurance in compliance with DEA, state, and federal pharmacy regulations.

  • Provide patient care through in-person, telephonic, or digital interactions, collaborating with healthcare providers and patient care teams to improve patient health and wellness outcomes.

  • Assist the Pharmacy Manager in supervising pharmacy operations, leading pharmacy associates, overseeing their training, and offering coaching and performance feedback.

  • Resolve customer issues to ensure customer satisfaction and a positive experience.

  • Complete required certifications, education, and training, including Whole Being Health, traditional medicine, holistic wellness, and alternative therapies, while supporting clinical service activities and meeting regulatory training requirements.

  • Maintain security in the Pharmacy department to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

  • Follow Standard Work procedures to ensure consistent, high-quality performance in all activities, with clear documentation and instructions.

The typical starting pay for this position ranges from $64.25 to $74.00 per hour, though compensation may vary based on qualifications, skills, experience, and location. For more details about benefits, visit our career site.


Education Requirements

  • Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (BS in Pharmacy)

  • Preferred: Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.)


Licenses/Certifications

  • Required: Pharmacist License in the state of practice

  • Required: Immunization Certification

  • Required: CPR Certification

  • Required: Immunization License (if required by state)
