Primary Purpose

As a Hannaford Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in the success of our pharmacy department, balancing various responsibilities throughout the day. Whether you’re filling prescriptions, assisting customers, or supporting fellow team members, your goal is to provide an exceptional customer experience, always with professionalism, confidentiality, and compassion. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Personalize the customer experience by applying your expertise and product knowledge to offer solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations.

  • Supervise pharmacy technicians who assist with prescription filling and processing, and sometimes vaccine administration, while modeling compassionate patient care.

  • Accurately and efficiently process prescriptions, provide counseling to patients, and administer vaccines to support their health goals.

  • Embrace the dynamic nature of retail by quickly adapting to changes to meet customer needs. You may be asked to take on additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications

  • Degree from an accredited pharmacy school.

  • Successful completion of a criminal background check.

  • Valid license in good standing in the state(s) where you practice.

  • Active immunizing pharmacist certification.

  • Strong communication, customer service, and time-management skills.

  • High integrity, professionalism, and ability to maintain confidentiality.

  • Effective interpersonal skills and a desire to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to various tasks and technical requirements.

  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and use a computer, keyboard, etc., for extended periods.

  • Frequent bending at the knees and waist.

  • Use of hands for fine motor skills, frequent reaching, and lifting up to 20 lbs at waist or shoulder level.

  • Visual and auditory ability to process prescriptions and serve customers effectively.

Salary Range

$108,000 – $138,000 annually.
