Responsibilities:
- Lead a high-performing sales team, focusing on driving profitable growth for the industrial product line and related services.
- Serve as the main local point of contact for regional and national partnerships, cultivating and maintaining strong relationships.
- Develop and lead a high-performing, engaged team that contributes to organizational goals and strategies.
- Develop and execute an annual territory strategy that includes:
- Maximizing current customer relationships and vertical market penetration.
- Identifying new target customers and markets.
- Determining the most effective end-user outreach methods.
- Assessing current channels and channel partners.
- Exploring lead-sharing opportunities with commercial and coatings channels.
- Driving growth in key products and new technologies.
- Conduct annual planning sessions with key partners.
- Recommend additions or replacements of partners within the territory.
- Effectively leverage all internal relationships.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of all products, services, and applications.
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum of 10 years of overall business experience, including:
- At least 7 years of sales and/or business development experience.
- At least 3 years in a managerial role with direct reports; experience managing remote employees is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing sales, marketing, or business development strategies.
- Proven track record of sales success.
- Experience hiring top performers, setting clear and measurable goals, and coaching and developing teams and partnerships.
- Must meet DOT requirements and reporting procedures. Must pull trailers in compliance with DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Must meet the physical requirements of the position, including the ability to hook up trailers and load demonstration equipment.
