Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Hire, onboard, train, manage, and engage a team of sales managers within a designated area.

  • Collaboration: Foster collaboration between Sales and Operations within the territory, ensuring alignment on goals and driving performance.

  • Performance Monitoring: Lead weekly meetings to monitor team performance, focusing on skill development, improvement, and prioritization of key topics.

  • Training: Provide ongoing technical training on services and ensure teams meet or exceed field sales activity standards (e.g., number of inspections per week).

  • Development: Facilitate one-on-one debriefs with team members to identify training needs and provide feedback for sales performance improvement.

  • Sales Target Achievement: Ensure the team meets or exceeds sales targets by driving activities and monitoring performance against revenue objectives.

  • Operational Stewardship: Oversee the implementation of RentokilTerminix business models, ensuring excellent execution at the branch level.

  • Field Engagement: Actively work with sales managers in the field, maintaining minimum sales activity requirements and fostering a collaborative team culture.

  • Sales Material Management: Monitor and ensure effective use of sales materials and inventory.

  • Leadership Example: Set an exemplary standard in areas like personal character, organization, selling skills, and work habits.

Required Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Proven experience in developing and leading sales teams.

  • Strong business acumen in management, sales, training, relationship development, and customer experience.

  • Ability to analyze financial reports in fast-paced, complex environments.

  • Willingness to travel as needed.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.

  • Preferably 3-5 years of sales leadership experience in a hunting capacity.

  • Maintain required licenses/certifications as per federal, state, or local regulations.

  • Valid driver’s license.

Physical Demands/Environmental Conditions

  • Lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs.

  • Physical activity including climbing, kneeling, and crawling.

  • Working in varying environmental conditions, including seasonal weather.

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and rotating on-call schedules.


Compensation & Travel

  • Salary Range: $124,800 – $146,800 per year

  • Travel: Up to 100% within the assigned territory.
