Job Overview
Model N is seeking a Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to join its Life Sciences organization. This role involves prospecting, managing, and closing new business opportunities within a defined territory of named accounts. The RSM will act as a strategic business leader, responsible for building relationships, managing a sales pipeline, and driving revenue growth through complex deal cycles—both remotely and in person.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the assigned region.

Prospect, manage, and close new business opportunities.

Demonstrate expertise in Model N’s product portfolio, value proposition, and selling methodology.

Collaborate with internal teams (Solutions Consultants, Partners, Support, Professional Services) to deliver value-driven client solutions.

Maintain accurate account and opportunity data in Salesforce.

Meet or exceed annual ARR and quarterly sales targets.
Required Qualifications

7–10 years of experience in enterprise software or SaaS sales with a proven track record of meeting quotas.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Experience selling complex solutions such as ERP, BI, or Quote-to-Cash systems.

Proven success in new logo acquisition for companies with revenue exceeding $1B.

Strong prospecting and C-suite relationship-building skills.

Knowledge of life sciences and medical technology industries preferred.

Proficiency in MEDDPICC sales methodology and solution-based selling.

Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

Willingness to travel up to 20%.
Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $150,000 – $170,000
