Responsibilities:
- Open new accounts and proactively expand Baume & Mercier’s network presence, developing distribution channels aligned with brand strategy, including visibility through space and shop-in-shop negotiations.
- Manage daily sales activities for authorized retailers in the Eastern/Central region, encompassing stock management, merchandising, account servicing, and co-op marketing.
- Monitor sell-out performance at each point of sale, developing and implementing strategies to increase sell-through (including training and incentive programs).
- Track the competitive landscape within the region, including distribution changes, and provide regular feedback to the sales team.
- Support partners in planning, product allocation, and stock management based on agreed assortments.
- Develop and monitor action plans to achieve commercial qualitative and quantitative KPIs.
- Oversee the Brand Experience at all market touchpoints.
- Analyze market and customer trends, developing cooperative action plans (CRM).
- Ensure Baume & Mercier’s image adheres to Maison guidelines at each point of sale.
- Plan and conduct training programs for sales teams.
- Prepare and lead monthly meetings with partners.
- Develop proposals to strengthen the distribution network.
- Evaluate the potential of new shop-in-shops and coordinate their implementation.
- Support retailer events within the territory.
- Explore and propose promotional events.
- Communicate regularly with the Brand President regarding account status, forecasts, sales analysis, and other relevant reports.
Qualifications and Experience:
- At least 5 years of professional experience in luxury sales/retail (luxury watch experience a plus).
- Responsible and confident negotiator with strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer focus combined with ambition.
- Sales expertise with a modern understanding of omnichannel retail.
- Independent and proactive approach with strong analytical skills.
- Flexible and able to work independently with strong follow-through, as well as collaboratively within a team. Willingness to travel up to 50%.
- Strong retail analytical skills, capable of providing robust reporting and communicating strategies for network improvement.
- Experience in event management.
