Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide physical and psychological nursing care to employees, offering guidance and counseling to support personal health decisions.
  • Oversee the medical management of workers’ compensation claims and facilitate early return-to-work programs.
  • Collaborate with attorneys to manage workers’ compensation legal claims.
  • Deliver employee health training and ensure compliance with OSHA programs, including hearing conservation, bloodborne pathogens, and pulmonary function testing.
  • Administer and manage the substance abuse program.
  • Serve as the CEAP coordinator for the company’s Employee Assistance Program.
  • Oversee the DOT random drug testing program.
  • Coordinate pre-employment physicals, drug testing, and annual medical monitoring.
  • Maintain the OSHA 300 log and ensure all necessary reports meet government compliance requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
  • Active RN license in Minnesota.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in occupational nursing within a heavy manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of state workers’ compensation laws and health & safety regulations
