Key Responsibilities:
- Provide physical and psychological nursing care to employees, offering guidance and counseling to support personal health decisions.
- Oversee the medical management of workers’ compensation claims and facilitate early return-to-work programs.
- Collaborate with attorneys to manage workers’ compensation legal claims.
- Deliver employee health training and ensure compliance with OSHA programs, including hearing conservation, bloodborne pathogens, and pulmonary function testing.
- Administer and manage the substance abuse program.
- Serve as the CEAP coordinator for the company’s Employee Assistance Program.
- Oversee the DOT random drug testing program.
- Coordinate pre-employment physicals, drug testing, and annual medical monitoring.
- Maintain the OSHA 300 log and ensure all necessary reports meet government compliance requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
- Active RN license in Minnesota.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in occupational nursing within a heavy manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of state workers’ compensation laws and health & safety regulations
