Position Overview:

We are actively recruiting skilled and compassionate Operating Room Registered Nurses to join the surgical teams of a leading healthcare system with multiple facilities across Pennsylvania. This opportunity is ideal for experienced nurses as well as recent graduates who are seeking to begin or advance their careers in a dynamic, high-quality perioperative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive and safe nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.

  • Assist surgical teams in maintaining a sterile and controlled operative environment.

  • Monitor patient vital signs and conditions during procedures, responding promptly to any clinical changes.

  • Document all nursing interventions and observations accurately and in accordance with hospital protocols and compliance standards.

  • Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical techs, and other interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal outcomes.

  • Participate in the preparation of surgical equipment and instrumentation.

  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and adhere to best practices in infection control and patient safety.


Qualifications:

  • Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Pennsylvania or eligible for multistate compact licensure.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).

  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to perform efficiently in fast-paced, high-stakes surgical environments.

  • Open to all levels of operating room experience and interest in various surgical specialties.


Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly wage ranging from $29.00 to $54.00 per hour, based on experience and location.

  • Sign-on bonus of up to $15,000 with a two-year employment commitment (paid out within 90 days of hire).

  • Flexible scheduling available: full-time, part-time, and per diem positions.
