Role Expectations:

Coordination of Care: You will be responsible for coordinating care to meet the identified needs of patients and their families, using critical thinking and the nursing process.
Supervision and Advocacy: Oversee patient care management, including discharge planning, identifying resources, and advocating for patients.
Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare teams to coordinate care across the continuum and assist in meeting individual patient needs.
Flexibility: This role may require flexibility in work hours based on department needs.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree (BSN) is required. If you hold an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), you must be enrolled in a BSN program with the expectation of completing the degree within two years of hire or transfer to an RN position.
Diploma or transcripts of the highest degree earned will be required.

Experience & Training:

Minimum of 2 years of current experience in an acute care area or equivalent service area.
Basic computer skills and experience with computerized documentation systems are required.

Licenses & Certifications:

Required:

Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) certification.

Preferred:

Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing (RNC-NIC) certification.
