DaVita is currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our outpatient dialysis team. About the Role:

  • Meaningful Patient Relationships: Build long-term connections with patients and families in a close-knit outpatient setting.

  • Team-Based Care: Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team—technicians, nurses, dietitians, social workers, and physicians—under supportive leadership.

  • Specialized, Skilled Nursing: Deliver complex care to patients managing multiple comorbidities, requiring diverse nursing knowledge and hands-on skills.

  • Fast-Paced Environment: Oversee a set group of patients (varies by state), lead clinical observations, machine setup, and treatment monitoring with PCT support.

  • Schedule: Typically 3–4 shifts per week, 10–12 hours each. Shifts often start early mornings. Some holidays required.

What You’ll Need:

  • Active RN license in the state of California

  • Minimum of 9 months RN experience (dialysis experience not required)

  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance

  • ADN from an accredited nursing program; BSN or diploma program may substitute

  • Proficiency with MS Word and Outlook; EMR documentation required

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, Saturdays, and holidays

  • Willingness to train at multiple clinic locations during onboarding and possibly float post-training

Preferred (Not Required):

  • ICU, CCU, ER, or Med-Surg experience

  • Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) or Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN)

  • Prior experience in chronic, acute, or home hemodialysis care

  • Background in training, teaching, or healthcare education
