Registered Nurse

We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join a respected non-profit hospice provider serving the Charles County, Maryland area. This organization is well-established and highly regarded across the state for its commitment to delivering exceptional quality care to patients at the end of life.

Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no weekend shifts or on-call responsibilities, allowing you to maintain a healthy personal and professional balance.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly pay ranging between $38.00 and $44.00, dependent on your years of experience and qualifications

  • Generous paid time off including 18 vacation days, 10 sick days, and 6 paid holidays annually

  • Mileage reimbursement at the current IRS standard rate of $0.70 per mile, supporting your travel to patient homes

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver compassionate, home-based nursing care to patients facing end-of-life challenges, primarily in private residences but occasionally in healthcare facilities throughout Charles County

  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals, making referrals as needed to ensure a holistic and high standard of patient care

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1 to 2 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably with geriatric patients

  • Experience in relevant care settings such as long-term care, hospice, home health, acute care, or similar clinical environments is highly desirable

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-centered approach to nursing care
