Position Overview
As a UAS Assessor, you will serve as an impartial evaluator responsible for conducting assessments that determine eligibility for New York State’s Long Term Care services. You will complete structured interviews with patients using the Uniform Assessment System (UAS-NY) and finalize documentation that supports care planning and service delivery.
This is a direct-hire role with Med-Scribe, Inc., offering full-time hours and a predictable Monday through Friday schedule.
Work Structure

Hybrid schedule with approximately 60% of assessments conducted remotely via video conference.

In-person visits are required when requested by patients.

You will be scheduled for 2–3 assessments per day, tailored to your geographic area and travel preferences.

Full-time schedule: 35–37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

Initial training period of 3–4 weeks, conducted full-time.

Overtime available beyond 40 hours per week.

Current and valid RN license in the State of New York.

Must reside in New York State.

Ability to work independently and travel within your assigned region as needed.

Must sign a Conflict of Interest Agreement, which prohibits simultaneous employment with other MLTC or home care agencies while participating in our UAS program.
