Position Overview
We are seeking dedicated and experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for a variety of units at a healthcare facility in Columbus, OH, including Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg), Medical-Surgical Telemetry (MS Tele), Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Emergency Room (ER), Labor & Delivery (L&D), Oncology, and Outpatient Clinics. This is a rewarding contract opportunity for RNs who are passionate about providing high-quality, patient-centered care in fast-paced clinical environments.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver direct and compassionate nursing care to adult and geriatric patients, particularly those diagnosed with cancer.

Administer chemotherapy and other oncology treatments while monitoring for adverse reactions and intervening as needed.

Perform comprehensive assessments, develop individualized care plans, and coordinate patient care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.

Assist with specialized procedures, including brachytherapy and neobladder care, following facility protocols and safety standards.

Provide emotional support to patients and their families, offering education and guidance throughout treatment and recovery processes.

Participate in ongoing clinical research trials by assisting with data collection, documentation, and compliance with study protocols.

Ensure proper documentation of patient information, treatments, and care outcomes in electronic medical records (EMR).

Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment by adhering to all clinical standards and infection control protocols.
Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio.

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).

Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills with the ability to respond quickly to changing patient conditions.

Previous experience in one or more of the following areas preferred: Oncology, Med-Surg, Telemetry, PCU, ER, L&D, or Outpatient Care.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
