About the Role
Betsy Johnson Hospital, part of Cape Fear Valley Health System, is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med-Psych unit. In this role, you will plan, implement, and deliver professional nursing care in accordance with hospital policies, while assuming charge nurse responsibilities as needed. Key Responsibilities

Deliver professional nursing care tailored to patients’ physical, psychosocial, developmental, and spiritual needs.

Implement nursing care plans in accordance with hospital standards and physician directives.

Serve as charge nurse when assigned, ensuring smooth operations and quality patient care.

Monitor and assess patients, ensuring safety and compliance with infection control practices.

Collaborate with physicians, care teams, and families to optimize patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications

Licensure/Certification:

Active RN license – Board of Nursing

BLS Certification – American Heart Association

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Positive interpersonal and leadership abilities.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout shifts.

Visual, auditory, and speech acuity to support safe patient care.
