Role Summary
As a New Grad Registered Nurse, you will deliver patient care using the nursing process—assessing needs, planning, implementing, and evaluating outcomes. You will coordinate care across hospital departments, advocate for patient safety, and ensure high-quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities

Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments and develop care plans.

Administer medications safely, following the State of Ohio Nursing Practice Act and hospital policies.

Act as a patient advocate and actively participate in quality improvement.

Educate patients and families while coordinating care with the interdisciplinary team.

Incorporate the professional practice model into daily nursing care.
Qualifications
Education:
-
Minimum: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
-
Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Licensure/Certification:
-
Active RN license in Ohio or Kentucky, or obtain within 90 days of hire.

BLS – American Heart Association (preferred).
-
National specialty certification encouraged within 6 months of eligibility.
Skills:

Proficiency in clinical and age-specific patient care.

Strong communication and critical-thinking skills.
