Join WellSpan York Hospital as a Registered Nurse on our 39-bed Medical Telemetry and Observation Unit (North 3A). This unit specializes in providing care for adults with diverse medical conditions, including:

Metabolic disorders, stable cardiovascular problems, and renal patients

GI bleeds, substance abuse withdrawal, diabetes, and infectious diseases

Respiratory conditions, stroke/TIA evaluations, and uncomplicated post-op cases
As a Registered Nurse, you’ll deliver professional, patient-centered care, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, and support patient safety and positive outcomes.
Responsibilities

Provide direct, comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process.

Act as a primary nurse, synthesizing patient data to develop outcome-driven care plans.

Administer medications and treatments safely and independently.

Identify and act on patient status changes.

Document care accurately in the EHR.

Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Mentor assistive staff and promote a supportive team environment.

Participate in shared decision-making, quality initiatives, and professional growth.
Qualifications
-
Education: Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.

Experience: No prior RN experience required.

Licensure/Certifications:
-
RN License (PA or Multi-State Compact) – Required upon hire

BLS – Required upon hire

Unit-specific certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) as applicable within specialty areas
