Job Title: Registered Nurse, RN
Location: NY, NY
Salary: 90,000 – $100,000 / year dependent on experience.
About our client: Our client, a nonprofit, provides a spectrum of treatments for opioids and other substance abuse disorders.
Overview: The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering healthcare services to clients.
- Major Duties:
- Leads and directs the work of Clinical Nurses.
- Participates on new nursing hires.
- Conducts on the job orientation for new nurses.
- Meets with interdisciplinary team and participates in the treatment planning of the clients.
- Administers medication prescribed by the physician.
- Responsible for necessary clinical and administrative paperwork.
- Delivers routine health screening tests and assures next level care.
- Troubleshoots for potential problems and reports same to Nurse Supervisor and/or Medical Director.
- Monitors referral of clients to appropriate healthcare services, outside the organization family of service delivery
Education: Graduated from an accredited nursing program.
Experience:
• Experience delivering services to those who are chemically dependent
• Prior experience in a supervisory role is preferred.
Certifications:
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in New York State
