Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. This role involves providing safe, high-quality patient care while guiding and supervising support staff within the unit. The RN also serves as a key resource across various departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver patient care in alignment with nursing standards, hospital policies, and the California Nursing Practice Act.

  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments using the nursing process.

  • Provide instruction, leadership, and supervision to subordinate staff.

  • Support interdepartmental collaboration and serve as a resource throughout the hospital.

  • Analyze clinical data and respond with appropriate nursing interventions.

Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of the nursing process and patient care standards.

  • Familiarity with the California Nursing Practice Act and hospital procedures.

  • Intermediate pharmaceutical and math competency.

  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Proficient in time management and prioritization.

  • Peripheral IV placement experience is required.

  • Prior computer and EMR experience preferred.
