Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care across Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, and Step Down Units. This role involves using the full nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The RN collaborates closely with physicians to communicate changes in patient conditions, respond effectively to evolving clinical situations, and deliver both direct and indirect care. This position also supports quality improvement initiatives and adheres to best practices in nursing.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver patient-centered care through comprehensive assessment and individualized care planning

Monitor and evaluate patient responses, and adjust treatment plans accordingly

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and physicians to manage patient care

Respond rapidly and effectively to changes in patient condition

Perform general nursing functions across various departments, as needed and under appropriate supervision

Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) and performance improvement activities

Document care accurately using hospital systems and tools
Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited nursing program recognized by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN)

Minimum of one (1) year of acute care experience preferred

Completion of a Telemetry certification course or equivalent professional experience in telemetry

Basic computer literacy and documentation skills
Licenses & Certifications (Required)

Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Florida

American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification

Completion of telemetry training or demonstrated experience in telemetry

Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy Certification (must be obtained within six months of hire)
