Position Overview
E-Therapy is currently hiring a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our innovative team. In this role, you’ll support student health and well-being in school settings by delivering direct care, promoting health education, and collaborating with staff and families to ensure a safe and supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver direct nursing care for students with acute and chronic health conditions, including medication administration, wound care, catheterization, and tube feedings.

Perform health assessments and screenings; monitor vital signs and overall health to promptly identify and respond to medical needs or emergencies.

Partner with educators, parents, and healthcare providers to develop and implement Individualized Health Plans (IHPs) and accommodations for students with special medical needs.

Administer prescribed medications and treatments in alignment with physician directives, nursing protocols, and school policies, maintaining accurate documentation.

Provide health education to students, families, and staff on wellness, chronic disease management, and preventive care practices.

Respond to on-site medical incidents, administering first aid and emergency care following established procedures.

Maintain secure and up-to-date health records including immunizations, treatment logs, assessments, and incident reports.

Work collaboratively with school mental health professionals to support students’ emotional and psychological well-being.
Qualifications

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.

Active RN license in the state of practice.

Previous experience in school health or pediatric nursing is preferred.

Current BLS certification required; PALS certification is a plus.

Strong clinical judgment and familiarity with common pediatric conditions and care practices.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with diverse populations.

Organized and detail-oriented with a solid grasp of documentation standards.

Experience with telehealth or virtual care platforms is advantageous.

Physical Requirements (On-Site School Setting)
The role requires frequent standing, walking, and movement throughout the school campus. Effective verbal and written communication with students, staff, and families is essential. Occasionally, the role may involve lifting items up to 25 pounds and performing activities such as bending, kneeling, or crouching.
